Position Purpose: The Asset Protection Specialist is primarily responsible for preventing financial loss caused by theft and fraud, supporting safety and environmental program compliance in their assigned store(s).
Responsibilities include:
- Identifying incidents of theft and fraud
- Reviewing CCTV and exception reports
- Monitoring physical security
- Auditing Electronic Article Surveillance
- Driving a shrink elimination culture
- Preparing detailed case reports
- Preserving evidence
- Interacting with law enforcement and testifying in court
- Reporting hazardous conditions
- Minimizing injury risks and demonstrating integrity
The specialist must focus on store-specific objectives while supporting asset protection and operational responsibilities.
