Structural Engineer Construction Infrastructure

As a Structural Engineer, you will support industrial, commercial, construction engineering, and infrastructure projects from concept through completion. You will collaborate with contractors, clients, project managers, engineers, EITs, designers, and other stakeholders. The work includes technical design, project delivery, site inspections, and practical problem-solving.

• Lead structural design using industry-standard design software
• Perform structural analysis and calculations for code compliance
• Prepare and review drawings, specifications, and technical reports
• Conduct site visits and inspections during construction
• Manage deliverables, schedules, budgets, and quality standards

• Professional Engineer registration or eligibility in Newfoundland
• Four or more years’ construction engineering and infrastructure design experience
• Finite element and dynamic structural analysis experience
• Understanding of seismic design principles and applicable codes
• Leadership skills for mentoring structural team members
