Deliver excellent customer service as a Shoppers Drug Mart Cashier, using register skills to process transactions accurately. Maintain a welcoming, organized checkout area.
This Cashier supports health, beauty, and convenience services in the community. You will positively engage customers, scan products, process cash, coupons, lottery, and PC Optimum transactions, and request each customer’s PC Optimum Card. The position also includes merchandising, documentation, loss prevention, and store standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Greet customers and provide excellent, positive service
- Scan or enter product data accurately
- Account for cash, coupons, lottery, and PC Optimum
- Maintain an organized checkout area and designated merchandise areas
- Follow loss prevention, health, safety, and store policies
- Strong computer and register skills
- Planning, judgment, and decision-making abilities
- Organization, neatness, and detailed record keeping
- Ability to balance teamwork and checkout efficiency
- Detail-oriented approach to customer orders
