D.R. Hamilton School is home to 120 students from nursery to grade 9, and is looking for a Grade 3-4 Teacher who holds a Bachelor of Education Degree and valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate eligibility. The position requires expertise in provincial curricula and strong classroom management. Additional knowledge of Indigenous Ways of Life and experience teaching in northern communities are considered valuable assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design engaging classroom activities and lessons

• Ensure effective classroom management techniques

• Incorporate technology to enhance student learning

• Guide student development in various subjects

• Collaborate with faculty and parents to support student achievement

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education Degree and Manitoba Teaching Certificate eligibility

• Proficient understanding of provincial curricula

• Past teaching experience in relevant grades

• Familiarity with school-based technology

• Understanding Indigenous cultural perspectives is a plus
