Student Services Guidance Counsellor at CNA

Support the College of the North Atlantic's mission as a Student Services Guidance Counsellor. Enhance student development through personalised counselling within a flexible framework.

As part of the Student Services team, you will deliver tailor-made guidance to CNA students, focusing on their academic and personal growth. Your responsibilities will include conducting individual counselling sessions, administering and interpreting assessments, and facilitating conflict resolution. You will also engage in other campus initiatives to promote student involvement and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individual and group counselling sessions

• Administer and evaluate standardized assess testing

• Mediate conflicts and provide resolution strategies

• Offer training on job search and study skills

• Assist in organizing campus recreational activities

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Education with Counselling focus

• Recent relevant counselling experience

• Familiarity with current counselling techniques

• Strong analytical and mediation skills

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
