Job OverviewFull‑time term Instructional Resource Teacher. Duties commence September 8, 2026 and continue through June 25, 2027.
As an Instructional Resource Teacher (IRT), you will support a diverse range of learners by developing and delivering individualized programming. Your work will focus on meeting the unique needs of students through enrichment, academic intervention, social‑emotional development, and the building of accessibility and adaptive skills.
Successful candidates will engage professionally with colleagues, families and communities; demonstrate the planning and implementation of effective and responsive teaching and learning practices; provide evidence of how to shape a safe and positive learning environment for students and families; demonstrate a love of learning and an ability to build learner and leadership capacity; provide evidence and understanding of the impact of effective assessment practices.

- Bachelor of Education
- Bachelor of Special Education or equivalent
- NL Teaching Certificate – Level IV or higher
- Equivalencies will be considered
Annual Teacher Salary Scale is contained within the NLTA Provincial Collective Agreement. Benefits are included in the agreement.
