This position reports to the Regional Manager of Rehabilitative Services with Professional Practice Oversight from the Clinical Lead for Speech Language Pathology. The successful candidate will be responsible for identification, prevention, diagnostic and therapeutic services in the areas of speech, language, fluency, voice and augmentative communication, as well as, swallowing disorders. This position supports inpatient, outpatient, long-term care, and community related work.

The populations served include preschoolers and adults. Travel may be required throughout the region. The successful candidate will be committed to safety and partner with all team members to improve worker and patient safety by integrating safety into work practices, identifying risks, and implementing improvements

• A Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from a recognized university approved by NLHS
• Certification with the Canadian Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists.
• Must be registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech – Language Pathologists Newfoundland and Labrador.
• Willing to work a flexible work schedule.

• A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is required for this position.
