Position: Emergency Registered Nurse Central Zone
Join the staff at James Paton Memorial Regional Health Centre as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. This temporary full-time position emphasizes patient-centered care, safety practices, and effective teamwork.

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide comprehensive care in the Emergency Department while promoting person-and-family-centered care. The successful candidate must have strong communication skills and a commitment to safety through collaboration with all team members. Expertise in emergency nursing is advantageous for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver complete nursing care in the Emergency Department

• Implement patient safety measures and identify risks

• Support person-and-family-centered care principles

• Collaborate with team members on safety improvements

• Maintain a positive work performance and attendance record

Requirements:

• Graduation from accredited School of Nursing

• Registration with the Association of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador

• Current ACLS and BLS certifications

• Two years of nursing experience required

• Completion of Health Assessment course desired
