Local Driver Courier

Position: Local Driver for Courier Company
Join a dynamic courier company as a local driver, delivering packages and ensuring top-notch customer service. This full-time role focuses on driving, loading, and unloading goods while adhering to safety standards.

As a driver in a fast-paced transportation setting, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining vehicles, navigating local routes, and providing timely deliveries. Your responsibilities also include sorting packages, keeping detailed records of deliveries, and communicating with dispatch. A valid Class 5/5F/G license is required to succeed in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive vehicles to pick up and deliver items

• Load and unload goods as needed

• Sort packages accurately for timely deliveries

• Record trip information including mileage and fuel costs

• Perform vehicle inspections before and after trips

Requirements:

• Valid Class 5/5F/G driver's license

• Criminal record and driving record checks

• Attention to detail and organized approach

• Flexibility and reliability in daily tasks

• Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
