Job OverviewTransport parts and/or products to O’Reilly stores and distribution centers safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities- Drive company vehicle to deliver parts and products to stores and/or distribution center.
- Pick up and sign for stock transfers at each stop on set route, delivering to appropriate store.
- Maintain daily city route manifest for deliveries.
- Keep fleet/fuel card, vehicle, and keys secure; be familiar with accident report guidelines.
- Ensure designated store team member verifies all invoices and signs the route manifest.
- Deliver according to schedule, reporting delays to the city delivery supervisor or remaining‑route stores.
- Project a professional and personable image to maintain good customer relations.
- Communicate problems or special needs to store management.
- Clock in/out per company policy.
- Check fluid levels (oil, radiator, transmission, etc.) and log mileage before operating vehicle.
- Report vehicle maintenance needs immediately to store manager; ensure fuel tank is filled, lock and secure vehicle at day's end.
- Drive safely and defensively.
- Legal state‑required driver’s license.
- Must meet company‑mandated driving eligibility requirements.
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company’s 14/18‑point record system.
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
- Good interpersonal communication skills.
- Adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
- Bilingual candidates encouraged.
