Garden City Mazda is HIRING NOW for experienced, friendly Service Advisors to assist customers in understanding their car’s maintenance or repair options and answer customer questions before they’re scheduled with a Technician. • Schedule appointments for service/maintenance/recall work
• Greet customers and inspect their vehicle
• Conduct all business with sincerity, honesty, and genuine concern for customer
• Listen to customer’s reason(s) for bringing their vehicle to the service department
• Consult with mechanics regarding necessary repairs and possible alternatives to expensive repairs
• Using your knowledge of our products and services to sell or provide in-depth information about available parts and service options to customers
• Provide customers with information and advice on warranty protections, potential cost savings and the advantages of trading in versus fixing their car
• Follow the status of the customer s vehicle from service bay entry through completion of work
• Act as a liaison between customers and our Service Technicians
• Upon completion of work, review work order with customer to assure all concerns are addressed
• Maintain positive customer relationships to ensure repeat business
• Other duties may be assigned

• MUST have at least 2 years’ experience as a service consultant in a dealership or independent repair facility
• CDK experience is a plus!
• Sales or Customer Service experience in any industry is a plus!
• A strong understanding of automotive technology and the automotive industry
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Strong organizational, decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Works well in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance and a positive attitude
• Good work ethic and computer skills
• Valid driver s license and good driving record
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
