Stocking Team Associate at Walmart – Garden City,

Stocking associates are focused on unloading trucks and stocking new freight. They spend the majority of their time in the backroom. Stocking associates must be able to lift heavy objects in excess of 50 pounds. Ability to operate heavy machinery such as forklifts may also be necessary.

• Unload truck freight and stock inventory on store shelves.
• Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery safely.
• Ensure accurate inventory counts and quality control.
• Maintain a clean and organized backroom environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a warehouse setting.
• Experience with warehouse or retail stocking preferred.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Base pay: $16.00/hour – $29.00/hour (depending on experience and location).

Additional compensation may include annual or quarterly performance incentives, and hourly premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season or specific tasks.
