** Kan Equip-Garden City has an immediate opening for a Service Writer to assist the Service Manager with administrative duties and repair orders for agriculture and construction equipment.
** The ideal candidate has...
*** Experience in an agriculture equipment service department or an agricultural equipment dealership.
* Expertise with computer system, including MS office and internet-based applications.
* Ability to work seasonally extended hours during the week or weekends.
* Acceptable Motor Vehicle status- current driver's license, and ability to operate motor vehicle  Ability to travel to company meetings and training events as needed.
** You will contribute to our team by: (Duties and Responsibilities)
*** Coordinating with the Service Manager to assign jobs to technicians in the service department according to their skill and knowledge.
* Assisting in supervision of technicians and ensuring excellent customer experience.
* Communicate clearly with customers regarding service work and billing.
* Maintaining a positive and professional working relationship with the service team, other dealership staff and venders.
* Completing forms for service operations and warranty in a timely and accurate manner.
* Promoting teamwork and communication through effective interaction with team members.
* Managing service trucking and sales logistics.
* Experience in an agriculture equipment service department or an agricultural equipment dealership.
