We are actively recruiting high‑school students age 16+ who are interested in our Ag Tech Student Scholarship Program. Work part time after school and during school breaks. Shadow experienced Service Technicians while gaining valuable on‑the‑job training before you graduate. Follow that up with two years of sponsored college education at Garden City Community College (Garden City, KS), Southeast Community College (Milford, NE), or Northwest Kansas Technical College (Goodland, KS), plus additional on‑the‑job training and mentorship to earn your Journey Worker’s Certification.

The American Implement Ag TECH Sponsorship Program is for anyone who desires to enter the agriculture industry and become a certified John Deere Service Technician. You’ll join the industry’s best and can count on competitive pay, career advancement opportunities, rewarding work, and advanced training.

Upon completion of the Ag TECH Sponsorship Program, students receive an associate’s degree, tuition paid by American Implement, and the security of a guaranteed career straight out of college. This full‑ride scholarship covers tuition/fees, room, and board for a total value of over $35,000.

American Implement sponsors students to attend the John Deere TECH Program offered by accredited colleges throughout the U.S. and Canada. Every instructor has completed extensive John Deere technician training, and students have the opportunity to work on the latest equipment and technology.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Extended periods of standing, walking, bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching overhead, regularly lifting 75 lbs without assistance, grasping with both hands, pushing and pulling, working around moving machinery, driving a vehicle, extensive hours on a computer, hearing normal tones, and seeing. May be exposed to extreme weather conditions from extreme heat to winter blizzard conditions.
