Within scope of practice and under the direction and supervision of the Occupational Therapist, provides prescribed therapeutic services to restore and prevent disability for clients or patients with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and cardiopulmonary disorders. Performs responsibilities in accordance with departmental and hospital policies, state and federal regulatory requirements:
Title 22 Section 70517, 70519.

• Associate Degree (COTA) from an accredited program
• Current state Occupational Therapy certification
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintained thereafter
• National Board for Certification Occupational Therapy certification; AOTA and OTAC membership preferred
