• Assess and manage medical, trauma and environmental emergencies under the supervision of a staff nurse or physician.
• Assist patients within the scope of practice and maintain a safe environment.
• Work under the direction of the ED Registered Nurse or Charge Nurse.

• High School Diploma or equivalent (or related experience).
• Basic EMT Training or E.R. experience.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintained thereafter.
• Current ACLS and PALS certificates required 30 days after hire.
• Certified/Licensed EMT in the state of certification.
