Associate Accounts Payable Specialist - Temporary

RealREPP, a full-service recruiting firm, is partnering with a growing, stable, nationally recognized organization to hire an Associate Accounts Payable Specialist on a temporary basis. The role primarily focuses on fundamental aspects of financial record‑keeping, including recording transactions, managing accounts, reconciling, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and GAAP.

Base pay range: $25.00/hr – $27.00/hr.

Position Details
  • Receive, process, and verify invoices related to accounts payables.
  • Establish and maintain accurate records to ensure data integrity and currency.
  • Research and resolve straightforward accounting discrepancies and irregularities in a timely manner, and elevate more complex issues for resolution.
  • Follow appropriate policies and procedures to guarantee compliance with all state and federal laws and GAAP.
  • Respond to internal and external customer inquiries promptly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Able to analyze and resolve basic issues.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
  • Computer proficiency with intermediate ability to use MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Able to remain flexible in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Works under direct supervision and makes decisions within defined guidelines.
