VP & SBA Loan Officer

POSITION OVERVIEW

The VP & SBA Loan Underwriter underwrites and processes SBA loan requests.

• Supports credit lending decisions by analyzing SBA loan requests, underwriting, structuring, and the closing of SBA loans
• Ensures all information is accurate and complete. All guidelines, policies and procedures, and regulations are to be followed
• Creates financial spreadsheets and analyzes, structures, and underwrites loans
• Develops cash flow from tax returns
• Originates loans from application to closing and works closely with Escrow, Title, and all parties involved
• Monitors and reports delinquencies
• Performs periodic portfolio maintenance
• Prepares loan compliance reports
• Timely collection of financial updates
• Conducts site visitation
• Manages new and existing clients
• Complies fully with all Bank policies and procedures as well as all regulatory requirements (e.g. Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, Code of Conduct, and etc.). Must complete all required training

• Working knowledge on credit analysis
• Ability to work on multiple loans simultaneously
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Effective written, verbal, and organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with all types of customers

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in SBA
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited 4-year University

The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $100,000

Salary ranges are determined based on qualifications, level, and location. Exact compensation may vary based on your skills and experience.
