Position OverviewReporting to the District Operations Manager, the Operations Manager oversees the Service team, ensuring operational excellence across the gym. Responsibilities include customer service, revenue monitoring, retail and member fee compliance, facility inspections, and collaboration with Sales, Fitness, Facilities, and Marketing teams.
Responsibilities- Passionate about creating an elevated member experience through a friendly and approachable manner.
- Hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising staff members including kids club, front desk, and janitorial staff.
- Effectively communicate goals, expectations, and procedures to staff.
- Provide constructive feedback on staff performance.
- Ensure high-quality customer service by addressing member concerns or complaints.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining certifications and protocols.
- Supervise maintenance and cleanliness of facility.
- Partner with Sales, Fitness, Facilities and Marketing teams to improve overall gym performance and uphold brand standards.
- Monitor and order inventory such as fitness equipment, cleaning supplies, and retail products.
- Communicate calmly and clearly during emergencies or unexpected disruptions to staff and members.
- 2-3 years of operations management experience.
- Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- 3-4 years of customer service experience.
- Prior experience or interest in the fitness industry (plus).
- Excellent relationship building and influencing skills with people at all levels.
- Strong detail orientation, systematic problem solving, and good time management.
- Excellent MS Office skills.

- Must successfully pass a background check.
- CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Knowledge of all current company policies and SOPs.
- Ability to work in a gym setting, moving about club floors and rooms.
- Ability to access and operate company computer systems for documents, data entry, and reports.
- Ability to bend routinely and lift more than 40 lbs.
$70,304—$83,000 USD
