Machine Shop Supervisor – Skill Set Group
Skill Set Group is looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to work in the Garden Grove, CA area. This position will oversee a small team of machinists in a high‑volume aerospace manufacturing environment. The candidate must have hands‑on supervisory experience in a machine shop, knowledge of troubleshooting & programming CNC lathes, and preferably continuous improvement and optimization skills. This is a direct‑hire 1st shift position.
PayRange
$85,000.00/yr – $/yr

Hours4‑6 AM start, Monday – Friday, overtime as needed.
Responsibilities- Oversee a small team of machinists in a high‑volume aerospace manufacturing environment.
- Program and set up CNC lathes.
- Troubleshoot and maintain production efficiency.
- Implement continuous improvement and optimization initiatives.
- 5‑7 years of experience operating, setting up, and programming CNC lathes.
- 3 years of previous CNC machine‑shop supervisory or lead role.
- Previous metal component manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Degree preferred but not mandatory.
