Operates computer numerical controlled (CNC) machines such as, but not limited to; milling machines, lathes, turning centers and horizontal mills used for the construction of aircraft interior structural and non- structural parts, such as floor fittings, aluminum trims, counter tops and other various aluminum, stainless steel and phenolic parts used in aircraft interiors using engineering drawings, company and customer specifications. This role involves working with levels 3 in a team-focused environment and requires adherence to safety and quality standards within aerospace manufacturing.
Responsibilities- Adheres to company and customer specifications, work instructions, engineering prints and work orders.
- Documents the materials and processes used to maintain traceability of product.
- Operates CNC machines safely and efficiently, including loading programs, cutting material, and securing fixtures.
- Squares material, monitors machine performance, and deburrs parts as time allows.
- Provides feedback to supervisor and programmer regarding program and tooling performance.
- Verifies part accuracy using calipers, micrometers and other metrology equipment; reports suspect parts immediately.

Qualification: - Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. - Experience:
5+ years of experience. - Computer
Skills:
Extensive experience operating CNC machines and familiarity with G and M code. - Other
Skills:
Ability to read and write English; strong hand/eye coordination; safety awareness; able to self-inspect and correct discrepancies; experience with aerospace manufacturing; ability to read engineering blueprints; experience operating machinery and various tools. - Additional Preferred Skills (not required):
- Ability to provide peer review and oversight to junior CNC Operators.
- Ability to write routine reports and provide training in the discipline.

- Fluent English communication; employment may be part-time, full-time, or temporary; travel and relocation may be required; protracted or irregular hours may be required.
Salary range: $22.14/hr – $34.79/hr actual compensation based on experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.
