• Diagnose, replace, clean, repair, and rebuild a variety of equipment, components, and systems.
• Use diagnostic and test equipment, and trade‑specific tools.
• Apply electrical and electronics theory principles.
• Interpret and follow technical manuals, blueprints, mechanical drawings, schematics, Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, and government and industry standards.
• Record technical data and complete paperwork according to FAA regulations and company policies.
• Adhere to industry/government safety, health, and environmental guidelines.
• Assist research and development of new repair capabilities, including on‑site and off‑site training.
• Maintain shop equipment and supplies, and keep the workstation organized per 5S standards.

Education: High School diploma or 2‑year technical degree (preferred).

Experience: 5+ years in a similar role.

Computer

Skills:

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Technical

Skills:

• Excellent electro‑mechanical assembly and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced department.
• Ability to handle stress diplomatically.
• Clear English communication.
• Strong knowledge of Aviation Maintenance.
• Use of hand tools and precision measuring equipment (micrometers, depth gauges, flow meters, pressure gauges).
• Use of electrical measuring equipment (multimeters, temperature gauges).
• Safe operation of electrical equipment per company policies.
• Crimping and soldering skills.
• Ability to read and interpret component maintenance manuals and drawings for diagnostics and repairs.

Preferred

Skills:

• 2‑year technical degree.
• Experience working in a repair station.

The expected salary range is between $22.14/hr and $34.79/hr USD, determined by experience, education, and applicable factors.

• Fluent English communication required.
• Employment status may be part‑time, full‑time, or temporary.
• Traveling may be required.
• Protracted or irregular hours possible.
• Relocation to another Safran facility may be required.
