Relay Production Specialist Operator
Acara Solutions has a Relay Production Specialist Operator job in Garden Grove, CA. Our client is a leader in the semiconductor industry. Qualified candidates will have at least 2 years of experience as a Production Specialist Operator. A successful candidate will be skilled in assembling, potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, stamping, etching, impregnating and sorting. The pay rate is between $21.00‑$22.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Job Responsibilities- Read work orders, follow production routes, drawings, and sample assemblies
- Receive verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed
- Interpret routes, drawings, work instructions and rework instructions from engineering
- Crimp, stake, screw, bolt, rivet, weld, solder, cement, press fit or perform similar operations to join or secure parts in place
- Mount assembled components, such as transformers, magnetics, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits and sockets, on chassis panels
- Connect component lead wires between individual component leads and other components, connectors, terminals, and contact points
- Install finished assemblies or sub‑assemblies in cases and cabinets
- Perform intermediate assembly tasks such as potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, stamping, etching, impregnating, sorting and color‑coding parts and assemblies
- Perform online go‑no‑go testing and inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards
- Perform other duties not outlined in this description as requested
Skills & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 2 years of experience in assembling, potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, stamping, etching, impregnating and sorting
- Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications and work instructions for Relay design
- Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to read and follow written instructions, processes and procedures
- Ability to understand and execute verbal and written instructions
- Basic math skills: adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing and converting units of measure; use of calculator if necessary
- Physical capability to lift at least 10 lbs.
- Must be able to pass background and drug screenings
- Must meet ITAR requirements
- Shift: 1st Shift – 5:30 am to 2:00 pm
