KSR Foam and Technical Products, LLC is looking for a Part Inspector/Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. You will use standard measuring devices such as a ruler and tape measure to check and approve parts for shipment. This is an entry-level position however engineering experience or knowledge is a plus.

As part of a team, you will maintain and advance quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, finished products, and recording the results. Excellent communication, leadership skills, and knowledge of CAD programs and blueprint reading are a must, as well as a keen attention to detail.

• Approve in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.
• Approve finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirm re-work.
• Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; input data into quality database.
• Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; call for repairs.
• Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; comply with legal regulations.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; read technical publications- including ISO  and AS9100D standards.
• Accomplish quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
• Advance our quality system under ISO  and AS9100D requirements.
• Fill in gaps in the production process.

• Basic Math Skills, Computer Skills (knowledge of Solid Works is a plus), Analyzing Information, Reporting Research Results, Documentation Skills, Promoting Process Improvement, Safety Management, Managing Processes, Manufacturing Methods and Procedures, Supports Innovation, CAD, Quality Engineering, Operations Research

• Moving parts, machine noise
• Able to walk/stand for hours at a time
• Ability to lift/push/pull/carry up to 100 pounds independently.
• Use of hands and fingers
• Frequent exposure to dust and debris from the production process

Monday through Friday, 7am-3:30pm. Overtime as needed. There is the possibility of adding a second shift.

Starting rate depending on experience.

Must be able to work overtime as needed. Shipping bonus eligible based on performance and attendance.
