Lead Foam Fabricator 1st Shift

Overview

KSR Foam and Technical Products is the leading fabricator of finished reticulated polyurethane/anti slosh foam kits and technical products for a wide range of military, commercial and high-performance applications. We are a small and growing company located in Garden Grove.

This is a hands-on Lead Foam Fabricator role in a small safety foam manufacturing company. We take pieces of foam and use specialized tooling and equipment to form parts to our customers  specifications.

• Production Employees use hot wires plus basic cutting tools to manufacture parts. We will teach and train!
• Work in a fast-paced warehouse environment and contribute as part of a team.
• Follow step-by-step instructions and take initiative as needed.
• Perform duties in a hands-on setting and handle necessary materials and equipment safely.

• Construction or any Manufacturing Assembly Experience is a plus
• Able to follow step-by-step instructions
• Basic math skills
• Should know basic measurements and how to read a tape measure and blueprint or be willing to learn
• Experience with manufacturing/production methods and procedures a plus
• Must be able to work in a team environment
• Must be able to understand/read/write English

• Moving parts, machine noise
• Able to walk/stand for hours at a time
• Lift/Move/Position: 25 pounds occasionally; 10 pounds routinely
• Ability to lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 pounds on own and up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Use of hands and fingers
• Frequent exposure to dust and debris from the production process

Regular

Hours:

Monday through Friday, 7am-3:30pm. Saturdays and Overtime as needed. There is the possibility of adding a 2nd shift.

Starting rate depends on experience.

Full-time employees are eligible for the shipping bonus plan based on performance and attendance.
