The Component Test Engineering team is looking for a technician with experience in electrical, mechanical/structural, and thermal testing. This role will provide hands‑on support to various in‑house and external tests. It is a 1‑year contract position with the possibility of conversion to a full‑time role. The role requires on‑site attendance 5 days a week between 8 am and 5 pm.

• Assist engineering staff with test setups, execution, and teardown.
• Occasionally travel to external test facilities to set up and/or execute tests.
• Fabricate test fixtures, make wiring harnesses, and support other lab activities.
• Operate a forklift (training will be provided if needed).
• Maintain lab inventory for consumables.
• Maintain a clean lab environment.

• High‑voltage electrical testing experience.
• Experience operating bi‑directional power supplies and electrical loads.
• Ability to build special wiring harnesses from scratch, including soldering and crimping.
• Experience building test stands and test fixtures.

• Experience with environmental, thermal, and structural testing.
• Experience operating and troubleshooting environmental chambers.
• Machine shop experience—welding, machining, etc.
• Automotive experience.

$30/hr–$35/hr based on experience; overtime available.
