Position SummaryWe are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Service Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain positive relationships within assigned customer accounts, oversee the sales process, and act as the primary point of contact to retain and grow these accounts. You will maintain regular communication with customers, coordinate with the Service team to ensure satisfaction, promptly address concerns, and advocate for customers when performance or billing issues arise.
Assigned accounts are generally larger and more complex.
- Grow our overall service business by prospecting in assigned market territory to develop and cultivate new “existing building” and “owner direct” customers.
- Sell new service maintenance agreements and truck-based service and project work.
- Manage the service sales process to close sales, including prospecting, qualifying, customer setup, proposals, presentations, and handling questions and objections.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships within assigned customer accounts. Act as a “One Southland” point of contact, engaging internal teams as needed for business development.
- Generate new sales through existing and potential customer networks and social networking. Identify new business opportunities as a building solutions partner.
- Mentor less-experienced Service Account Managers.
- Strong knowledge of service policies, procedures, and capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentations.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to develop customer relationships.
- Demonstrated sales skills in prospecting, qualifying, proposing, and closing sales; capable of managing large accounts.
- Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills.
- Frequent travel within the assigned region.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM systems.
- Education:
Two-year relevant degree or equivalent training/experience. - Experience:
3+ years in relevant roles.

Final pay ranges from $128,000 to $136,000, depending on education, experience, and location, including base salary, commission, benefits, and retirement.
