EV Charging Station Electrician – EV Infrastructure

Pay: $25–$35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

Video Voice Data Communication is seeking an experienced Electrician / EV Charging Station Electrician to join our growing Electric Vehicle (EV) infrastructure construction team.

This position will support the installation, construction, and maintenance of EV charging infrastructure at various project locations. The ideal candidate has electrical construction experience and is comfortable working outdoors, using hand and power tools, and traveling to different job sites.

Responsibilities

• Install and assist with installation of EV charging stations and related electrical infrastructure
• Perform electrical construction and installation work according to project specifications
• Prepare and organize materials for projects
• Load and unload electrical and construction materials
• Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical equipment safely and effectively
• Assist with conduit, wiring, equipment installation, and other electrical construction activities
• Maintain a clean and organized job site
• Follow project instructions, plans, and safety procedures
• Communicate professionally with coworkers, supervisors, customers, and other contractors
• Drive company or personal vehicles to various job sites
• Work outdoors and in a variety of weather conditions
• Perform other construction and electrical duties as required

Required Qualifications

• California State Certified Electrician required or C10 Electrical Contractor license required
• Electrical construction or installation experience preferred
• Preferred
  
  Experience with EV charging stations, EV infrastructure, commercial electrical, or electrical construction is a plus
• Valid California driver's license
• Clean driving record
• Ability to travel to various job sites
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

• Bend, kneel, stoop, crawl, dig, climb, push, and pull
• Lift and carry construction and electrical materials
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Work early mornings, late evenings, weekends, or occasional overnight/graveyard shifts depending on project requirements
• Work overtime when necessary to meet project deadlines

Schedule & Travel

• Multiple job sites
• Local and occasional out-of-area travel
• Weekend work may be required based on project schedules
• Overtime may be available or required
• Flexible availability for project schedules is important

Pre-Employment Requirements

Candidates must successfully complete required pre-employment screenings, which may include:

• Background check
• Physical examination
• Drug screening

Compensation

$25.00–$35.00 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and licensing.
