Accounting Clerk

Leading Company in the Logistics Industry is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join their growing team! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Accounting functions and with exposure to the logistics, transportation, or freight forwarding industry.

Schedule:
Monday through Friday
8AM to 5PM

Looking for: Someone who has worked on the SS Lines service contracts, customer quotes and customer billing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review customer contracts to ensure completeness and accuracy
• Work with sales team, customer success team, and external customers
• Prepare and review customer invoices
• Update CRM system
• Process credit card payments
• Apply cash receipts to customer accounts
• Assist with processing commissions
• Assist in providing audit support for revenue transactions
• Research and resolve billing issues
• Process customer documents to facilitate payments (w-9, purchase orders, etc.)
• Follow up with customers regarding outstanding payments
• Support various special projects as required

Desired Skills and

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of accounting experience
• Proficiency in Excel and other computer programs
• Familiarity with Quick Books OR Net Suite
• Detail-orientation, organizational skills and a strong work ethic
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high growth environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with strong written and oral communication
• Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
