Position Overview:

The Surveillance Officer is part of a team conducting video surveillance of all aspects of the Casino, including staff, patrons, and the interior and exterior. Responsibilities include maintaining the integrity of games, protecting team members, patrons, and assets. This position reports to the Surveillance Director and collaborates with the GM and department managers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitoring surveillance activities and incidents, keeping management informed
• Ensuring camera and equipment functionality in coordination with IT
• Assisting in policy creation and enforcement
• Participating in the Compliance Committee

Additional Duties:

• Operating surveillance equipment, including cameras and workstations
• Completing incident reports promptly
• Documenting activities in the Surveillance Daily Log
• Exporting video footage from various camera angles
• Conducting live monitoring of patrons and staff within and outside the Casino
• Maintaining surveillance equipment
• Monitoring the Casino box pull
• Reporting discrepancies to appropriate authorities
• Maintaining a clean and functional work area
• Knowledge of all Casino games

Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to learn report writing and footage retention
• Flexibility to work any shift, including weekends, holidays, and overtime
• Computer proficiency
• High confidentiality standards

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED; six months’ related experience or training preferred
• Gaming experience is a plus
