TAX MANAGER

  : 40 hours/week (up to 50 hours during busy seasons)
• Salary Range
  : $160,000 $ 165,000 annually
• Team Management
  : U.S.
  
  -based team: 5-6 members / Japan-based outsourced team: 10 members

• Prepare and review complex tax returns and handle tax audits
• Oversee large-scale tax projects and assign tasks effectively
• Provide advanced tax advisory services to clients
• Direct and manage tax research activities
• Share timely updates on tax law changes with internal and external stakeholders
• Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance
• Manage the overall tax filing process to ensure accurate and timely submission
• Monitor and analyze economic and regulatory changes that may affect clients businesses

• 57 years of experience in a public accounting firm
• At least 1 year of management experience or strong ownership mindset
• USCPA license required
• English proficiency equivalent to TOEIC 850 or above
• Japanese bilingual proficiency (both spoken and written)
• Bachelors degree in Accounting (Masters in Tax preferred)
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and other IT tools
