As a Security Officer - Mall Perimeter Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations to help create a secure environment for customers and staff. Your visible presence and routine patrols help to deter security-related incidents, while your commitment to exceptional customer service and communication supports a welcoming atmosphere.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter inappropriate activity and/or unauthorized access.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Interact professionally with the public, store employees, and visitors to support a welcoming environment.
• Assist with access control procedures and monitor entry and exit points as required by site-specific guidelines.
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner as directed by Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
