Licensed Veterinary TechnicianAll Creatures Pet Hospital is actively looking for a Certified Veterinary Technician to join our amazing team. We are seeking an organized, compassionate, and service‑oriented individual who is confident in rooming patients, assisting in surgery, performing dental cleanings, placing IV catheters, drawing blood, and running in‑house bloodwork with Idexx and Heska equipment. Experience with x‑ray and proper positioning, an understanding of client education, and a supportive, positive team attitude are essential.

- Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures.
- Safely handle and restrain animals; administer medications and vaccines.
- Collect lab samples and maintain accurate patient records.
- Educate clients on pet care and ensure a clean, organized work environment.
- Certified Veterinary Technician; license must be current in Alabama.
- 2–3 years of veterinary experience.
- Must be able to work rotating weekends.
- Can lift 50lb and can stand for long periods.
- Cornerstone and Idexx experience preferred.
- Experience as a veterinary technician or assistant.
- Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT, RVT, or LVT) preferred – or eligibility to obtain licensure based on state requirements.
- Degree from an AVMA‑accredited Veterinary Technology program preferred but not required.
