What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with access control procedures for restricted areas, visitors, and authorized personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports related to incidents, observations, patrols, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Possess an armed guard card or license, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Be able to lift up to 20 pounds, preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
