Based one day per week at a welcoming elementary school, you’ll have the opportunity to work onsite with a dedicated group of approximately 11 students, helping them achieve their educational and developmental goals.

Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license for the state of Maine
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric OT setting is preferred
• Strong knowledge of student assessment, IEP processes, and therapeutic interventions
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Current certification and updated resume required

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide approximately four hours of direct OT services to students onsite at a single school location
• Conduct assessments and participate in developing student IEPs
• Plan and execute individualized treatment sessions tailored to each student’s needs
• Complete required indirect paperwork and documentation during scheduled time
• Consult regularly with multidisciplinary school staff and provide guidance to support students
• Maintain confidentiality and adherence to educational and legal guidelines

This position offers flexibility to choose which day of the week you’ll be onsite, allowing for a balanced schedule. The assignment runs through June 11, 2027, with a supportive school team and access to needed resources.
