- Ensures the safety of the children in the program at all times.
- Responsible for direct interaction with the children in games, activities, and free play.
- Ensures that both JCPRD and KDHE guidelines are followed.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized program.
- Effectively communicate with parents, children, supervisors, and co-workers.
- Must exhibit initiative by demonstrating leadership without being prompted.
- Display professionalism at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Attend all required in-service trainings and meetings.
- Additional duties as assigned by the Program Director or Assistant Program Director.
- Salary: $12.00 per hour.
Locations are at various elementary schools in the Gardner School District.
Gardner:
Monday - Friday, 7:00 - 8:30 a.m. and/or 3:00 - 6:00 p.m.
Minimum age of 16, some experience with children. Pass KBI background check.
Preferred Job Requirements:
At least sixteen years of age, some experience working with children 5-12 years.
JCPRD requires reference/background screening for all positions. Specified criteria may vary by Department.
