Responsibilities- Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience every visit.
- Mgrs may also lead Departments, managing assigned systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management, setting goals, delegating tasks, following up, and reporting results.
- Guest Service Department Manager responsibilities include ensuring crew and managers deliver a great customer experience, that sales promotions are executed well, that all service staff are trained in procedures, and that the Front Counter, McCafé, and Drive-Thru areas are organized for optimal service.
- Kitchen Department Manager responsibilities include ensuring the restaurant delivers high‑quality, safe food fast, controlling food cost, and training kitchen staff on production procedures and new menu items.
- People Department Manager responsibilities include hiring qualified crew, training them effectively, scheduling them to meet sales and profit goals, providing a positive start and ongoing motivation for all crew.
Previous managerial experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail or hospitality environment. We’re looking for positive team players with flexible schedules who like to have fun, with the passion to work in the famously fast‑paced McDonald’s environment. You must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our corporate owned and operated restaurants.
