About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Yard hand/Gardner Handyperson to join our team.
This hands‑on role is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and general upkeep of Matic Group’s buildings and grounds. You will assist with installations, repairs, painting, gardening, and general improvement work to ensure our facilities are safe, functional, and well presented. Applicants must be permanently based in Karratha
. This role does not support FIFO or relocation assistance
- Perform general maintenance and repair work across buildings and grounds
- Carry out basic carpentry, plumbing, and painting tasks
- Install equipment and fittings such as whiteboards, shelving, and fixtures
- Conduct routine inspections and address maintenance issues promptly
- Maintain gardens and outdoor areas to a high standard
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety procedures
- Liaise with management and external contractors when required
- Previous experience in a maintenance, facilities, or handyperson role
- Strong practical skills in general repairs, installations, and upkeep
- Physically fit and capable of manual work and lifting equipment
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
- Able to work independently and manage time effectively
- Reliable, proactive, and safety‑conscious
- Must hold a current and valid driver’s licence
- Must be able to provide a current National Police Clearance
- Must be willing to attend a Pre‑employment Medical Examination
- Full‑time role, working Monday to Friday, with additional weekend work as required
