Witt Kieffer is pleased to partner with Mount Wachusett Community College (MWCC), a mission‑driven institution serving North Central Massachusetts, in two national searches for experienced and collaborative leaders:
Director of Financial Aid and Director of Student Accounts. Both roles report to the Executive Director of Student Financial Services and play critical parts in advancing MWCC's commitment to access, affordability, and student success.
MWCC is dedicated to providing high‑quality education and support services to a diverse student population, including traditional undergraduates, early college participants, lifelong learners, and workforce development students. These positions offer an opportunity to shape the financial experience of students and ensure compliance, integrity, and efficiency across financial operations.
Director of Financial AidThe Director of Financial Aid provides vision, leadership, and day‑to‑day management of the Financial Aid Office. This includes administering all Federal Title IV programs, institutional funds, and Massachusetts state aid programs such as Mass Educate and Mass Reconnect tuition and fee‑free community college programs for eligible residents. The Director ensures compliance, accuracy, and ethical stewardship of funds while delivering training and updates to staff and campus partners.
Directorof Student Accounts
The Director of Student Accounts oversees student billing and account operations in a high‑volume, multi‑program environment. This includes programs with unique billing schedules and compliance requirements. The Director ensures integrity and efficiency while leveraging technology to support evolving programs and priorities, as well as collaborating closely with campus partners.
Qualifications and CompensationBoth positions require a bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, five years of progressively responsible professional experience, and three years of supervisory experience. The salary range is $95,000 to $110,000, along with a comprehensive suite of benefits.
