Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Per Diem
Location:
Gardner/Fitchburg, MA area Pay: $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
Primarily second shift and overnight; weekend availability required

Make a Difference with Arbor Arbor Associates is seeking dependable, flexible Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our per diem bench team supporting residential programs in the Gardner/Fitchburg area.
Help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities build independence, participate in their communities, and receive the daily support they need.
This opportunity is ideal for someone seeking supplemental income who can work a flexible schedule. Bench staff cover open shifts due to call-outs, vacations, leaves of absence, and other staffing needs. Hours are not guaranteed and vary from week to week.
Schedule and Availability- All shifts available
- Weekend availability required
- Ability to accept shifts on short notice when possible
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 30 minutes between assignments
- Provide compassionate direct care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Assist with daily living activities, including feeding, toileting, bathing, personal hygiene, and meal preparation.
- Encourage independence, choice, and participation in daily routines.
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.
- Follow individualized support plans and behavioral support strategies.
- Complete required documentation and promptly report changes, concerns, or incidents.
- Transport or accompany individuals during community activities when required.
- Communicate effectively with program staff and the Arbor staffing team.
