Manufacturing Engineer, Quality Engineering
As a senior medical device assembler, you will lead the assembly process, ensuring production of high-quality medical devices that meet industry regulations and standards. This role focuses on advanced assembly skills and enhancing patient care through reliable products.
Principal Responsibilities- Oversee complex assembly operations, guiding the team through intricate procedures and troubleshooting issues.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation to support compliance with regulatory bodies.
- Mentor and train new technicians, fostering professional development.
- Lead assembly projects and initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., FDA).
- Develop and improve assembly procedures and workflows.
- Provide technical support and guidance to all assembly team members.
- 5-10 years of experience in medical device assembly or a related manufacturing field; supervisory experience is a plus.
- Strong skills in assembly tools and equipment, familiarity with technical drawings, and proficiency in assembly processes.
- Knowledge of FDA regulations, ISO standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Ability to adhere to quality control protocols and maintain documentation for compliance and traceability.
- Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and implementing solutions.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to new manufacturing practices. - Strong teamwork and mentoring abilities.
High School Diploma or equivalent required. A college degree in a relevant field preferred. Equivalent experience may also be accepted.
Working ConditionsManufacturing laboratory environments including ISO Class 7 clean rooms.
Physical RequirementsRegular standing, walking, sitting, using hands for various tasks; reaching, talking, hearing.
TravelLimited local travel may be required.
Other RequirementsThis position involves access to technology subject to U.S. export controls. Offer contingent on compliance.
Salary$22 - $23 per hour
