**** POSITION SUMMARY**:

Kokosing Materials Inc. (KMI) is seeking a talented candidate with proven technical skills and an outgoing personality to join our Business Development team. The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for providing support to the sales, accounting and plant operation teams to ensure our customers are efficiently cared for. They will coordinate efforts between different departments, take part in meetings, travel between offices, and take on any other support tasks necessary to keep the business functioning smoothly.

This role requires outstanding communication skills, consistency and a proven ability to solve problems using teamwork. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask and to think on their feet, providing quick, effective solutions.
** ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
* Field and process customer calls.
* Work with corresponding departments maintaining accurate inventory reports and forecasting.
* Build and maintain customer relationships by traveling to customers and fielding calls.
* Maintain regular contact with customers ensuring quotes and supply agreement documentation are completed.
* Provide technical mix design documents and information to customers regarding the asphalt product.
* Work with office staff to confirm correct pricing, invoicing and job information for customer jobs.
* Monitor lien rights and documents.
* Responsible for accurate reporting.
* Follow up on customer satisfaction complaints, invoices, and pricing issues.
* Serve as a liaison for customers requesting invoices, tickets, and other related shipping documentation.
* Works with the team on daily scheduling to maintain plant efficiency.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
** EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE (Include Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations
*** 4-year college degree required.
* Valid driver license
* This role is located in our Garfield Heights, OH office (south central Cleveland area).

*** Excellent customer service and relationship skills.
* Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Established computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
* Must be a self-starter and have a willingness to assist with a variety of customer service tasks.
