Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring an active OH or compact RN license and recent Med/Surg Tele experience.
Responsibilities- Work in a hospital Med/Surg Telemetry unit
- Night shift position with 3x12 hour shifts from 7pm-7:30am
- Option for 4x12, 3x12, or 2x12 hour weekly schedules
- Adult medical-surgical and telemetry patient population
- Uses ECG rhythm recognition during care
- Documentation of hours worked submitted in Qualivis – Lotus
- Will be required to pass clinical testing during orientation
- Assignment options are available for various weekly hour schedules
- Rules limit assignments to 18 consecutive months at any Cleveland area locations with a minimum 6-month break before returning
- All documentation and requirements must be met with no exceptions
- Active OH or compact RN license in hand
- Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
- Must have at least 18 months permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience prior to travel
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Must be willing to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start
- Must complete ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments during orientation with acceptable scores
- One recent reference from a supervisor in Med/Surg Telemetry is required for consideration
