American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift hospital position requiring OH or compact RN license and 1 year of specialty experience.

• Hospital Med/Surg Tele unit setting
• Night shift, three 12-hour shifts per week, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

• Active OH RN license or compact license in hand required
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must be willing to obtain NIHSS prior to start
• 1 year of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele required
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director within the specialty applied for, from an assignment worked in the past 12 months
• Co-worker references not accepted
• COVID-19 vaccine required with medical or religious exemptions only
• Flu vaccine required with medical or religious exemptions only

• Provide cardiac monitoring and emergency response care including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safe Medicate assessment completed during orientation with a passing score required
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• Expected to work every other holiday
• First-time travelers are not required to have prior travel experience for this role
