American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift hospital assignment requiring an active OH or compact RN license and at least one year of specialty experience.

• Med/Surg Tele unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate

• Active Ohio or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required, with willingness to obtain NIHSS prior to start
• Minimum 1 year of combined permanent Med/Surg Tele experience required
• Skilled in cardiac monitoring, emergency response, and interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty, completed within the past 12 months
• No open background check cases or professional license hits accepted

• Provide nursing care for medical-surgical and telemetry patients including cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management
• ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments completed during orientation with a passing score required
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required, with medical or religious exemptions only
• Holiday coverage required on a rotating basis (every other holiday)
• Permanent or per diem candidates may not return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals within 1 year of their previous end date
• Assignments may be extended up to 18 consecutive months, after which a 6-month break is typically required
