As a Maintenance Repair Worker 2, you will perform entry‑level tasks related to facilities maintenance. Job duties may include, but are not limited to, grounds keeping/landscaping, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work. The selected candidate will work out of the Garfield Heights location but will also be required to travel to all facilities within the district (Lake, Geauga, & Cuyahoga Counties) using a state vehicle.
A valid driver's licence is required.

- Six months of training or six months of experience in maintenance repair work (basic electricity, plumbing, carpentry, masonry repair and use of associated hand and power tools and equipment).
- For applicants in the Department of Natural Resources, Division of Forestry, a successfully completed basic firefighter/introduction to fire behavior course (S‑130/S‑190) is required.
- Valid commercial driver’s licence if operating motor equipment regulated by Ohio Revised Code §§ 4506.01 and 4506.12.
- Equivalent minimum class qualifications may substitute for the required experience, but not for the mandated licences.
