Product Line Coordinator – Safety & Identification Products
We’re looking for a Product Management Coordinator to join our team. This role focuses on managing and improving existing safety, crowd control and identification product lines (not software or IT products). Candidates with experience in marketing or product development/management are encouraged to apply.
This role blends strategic thinking with hands‑on execution—supporting both the management of existing product lines and the development of new products that expand Brimar’s market reach.
The Product Management Coordinator plays a key role in shaping, launching, and maintaining Brimar’s product portfolio. You’ll identify market opportunities, manage day‑to‑day product performance, and coordinate cross‑functional teams to bring new ideas to market.
You’ll collaborate with Sourcing, Manufacturing, Graphics, Data, Marketing, and Sales to ensure Brimar’s products meet customer expectations, adhere to standards, and deliver profitable growth. This position requires curiosity, organization, and initiative—the drive to “own” projects from start to finish.
Product Development & Execution- Act as the driver and owner of assigned product projects from concept through launch.
- Work closely with sourcing and manufacturing to assess feasibility, cost, and profitability.
- Develop and maintain detailed product specifications and documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
- Partner with internal teams (Graphics, Data, Content, and Marketing) to ensure product accuracy, consistency, and alignment with established standards.
- Oversee project flow through the development pipeline—tracking timelines, resolving bottlenecks, and maintaining accountability for deadlines.
- Monitor existing product lines for performance, profitability, and market relevance.
- Identify and analyze declining products, determine root causes, and recommend next steps.
- Stay current with compliance, safety standards, and industry regulations to ensure ongoing product conformity.
- Track and report on key KPIs—sales, margin, and inventory—to ensure portfolio health.
- Collaborate with the Data team to ensure all product information (descriptions, pricing, promotional materials) is accurate and compelling.
- Serve as the product expert for assigned divisions—understanding specifications, applications, and competitive positioning.
- Provide product knowledge, training, and launch support to Sales and Marketing teams.
- Lead and participate in cross‑functional teams to align objectives, streamline workflows, and ensure timely product delivery.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance Brimar’s product management processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in product management, merchandising, or project coordination—preferably in manufacturing, industrial, or e‑commerce environments.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP, PIM pr PLM systems a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
- Passion for understanding how products are made, marketed, and improved.
