Service Care is partnered with a forward thinking accountancy practice looking for an experienced Payroll Clerk to join their team. You will be responsible for a portfolio of clients, mainly working with payrolls from 1-30 members of staff.

• Payroll processing for weekly, 4‑weekly and monthly payrolls
• Calculation of wages, bonuses, overtime and statutory payment deductions
• Ensure compliance with tax and employment legislation
• Prepare and submit payroll reports
• Maintain up‑to‑date employee payroll records and ensure data is input correctly
• Handle payroll amendments, starters, leavers and year‑end processes
• Act as the main point of contact for your portfolio, handling queries and offering payroll advice
• Reconciling payroll reports
• Processing CIS returns for contractors
• Other ad‑hoc duties as required

• Minimum of 2 years experience within payroll
• Experience running multiple payrolls
• Strong organisational skills
• High attention to detail

• Base salary of £30,000 - £35,000 (FTE if part‑time)
• Part‑time or full‑time work available
