Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role located in Garforth. As a Deputy Care Home Manager, you will support the day-to-day management and operations of the care home, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance with regulations. You will assist in planning and overseeing staff schedules, managing resources effectively, and maintaining a positive and supportive environment for staff and residents. Additionally, you will develop and promote best practices, assist with administrative duties, and liaise with residents, families, and regulators to ensure optimal outcomes for all.
Qualifications- Experience in team leadership, team management, and staff development within a care or similar setting
- Strong knowledge of compliance standards, health, safety regulations, and care frameworks
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Organizational and time management abilities to oversee schedules, resources, and care plans
- Proficiency in using care management software and basic IT applications
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care; NVQ Level 4 or 5 is preferred
- Experience in elderly care or similar roles is highly advantageous
