Overview

Are you a dedicated care leader looking to make a meaningful impact? Springfield Care Home in Garforth is seeking a passionate Home Manager to lead our team. Whether you are an established and experienced Manager or an ambitious Deputy Manager ready for the next step, we really want to hear from you.

Salary:
Starting from £45,000, depending on experience and qualifications

Contract:
Full-Time, Permanent

The Role

As Home Manager, you will be the heart of the home. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, ensuring the highest standards of care, and maintaining full compliance with regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain effective communication with all heads of departments, ensuring regular supervisions and improving staff morale through consultation and leadership.
  • Build strong relationships with residents’ families and local healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure the ongoing monitoring of care standards, maintaining a high quality of care to ensure we meet regulatory requirements and continue working toward the goal of "Outstanding."
  • Be involved in the setting of annual operating budgets, and the management of these, to attain agreed levels of turnover and profitability.
  • Manage and develop all aspects of the business, in a commercial, professional and caring manner.
  • Experience:

    Proven track record as a Care Home Manager or a Deputy Manager with at least one year of care home management experience.
  • Qualifications:

    Level 5 NVQ in Health and Social Care (Leadership & Management) completed, or currently working towards it.
  • Specialism:
    Experience in residential and dementia care.
  • Compliance: A deep understanding and working knowledge of CQC regulations and safeguarding protocols.
